On 17 August 2026, INNOVED organised one of the two Greek national multiplier events of the Erasmus+ VETCompass project at the 2nd Evening Vocational High School (EPAL) of Volos. The event brought together 14 VET teachers and trainers interested in exploring new approaches.
The event provided an opportunity to present the VETCompass project, its objectives and the key results developed throughout the project. Participants were introduced to the VET Teachers’ Transversal Skills Competence Framework, the Game-Based Assessment Tool, the Toolbox Library, and the Roadmap. Particular attention was given to the assessment tool and its potential to support VET professionals in reflecting on and developing their transversal competences through an interactive and engaging approach.
At the end of the event, there was a practical demonstration of the Game-Based Assessment Tool for those interested in trying it immediately. Some participants had the opportunity to access and test the tool directly on their mobile phones, allowing them to experience the assessment process from the user’s perspective. This was followed by an open discussion about the tool, its usability and its potential application in VET settings. Participants shared their impressions and discussed how resources such as those developed by VETCompass could be integrated into their professional practice.
The feedback collected after the event was highly positive. Participants expressed very high levels of satisfaction with the organisation of the event, the clarity of its objectives and presentations, and the relevance of the topics discussed. The usefulness and relevance of the VETCompass results were also rated very positively, with most participants assessing them as “very high”. Participants particularly recognised the potential of the project results to support new knowledge and to be used or shared within their professional networks. A key takeaway from the discussion was the value of combining interactive digital tools with practical approaches to transversal skills development.
The multiplier event in Volos contributed to bringing the VETCompass results directly to the Greek VET community and creating space for discussion and practical exploration. The positive feedback received will support the continued dissemination of the project results and encourage VET teachers, trainers and organisations to explore the tools and resources developed by VETCompass.
